Summer time is here...and it's HOT!

Well, it's officially HOT here in AZ! It was about 103 which isn't bad...and it's been a pretty cool (can you say 90's) spring. That is over now, however, and it's getting HOT in here!!!!!

Yesterday we went to Kenna's new school and participated in Summer Splash. Kenna did her first "runs" down a "Slip and Slide." You should have seen her do that run! She did finally relax and meet a few kids and she even got to hold a firetruck hose and "blast" the kids! (This was a smaller than regular hose, so don't worry. No kids were harmed!)

To say she had a blast would be fair. We took yummy grapes and they had a wonderful spread of fruits to eat. There were some amazing peach slices that were to die for!!!

A ton of parents came up and introduced themselves to us so we were SO happy! You know that this has been a very frustrating decision to find a school and I think we have found a gem. (PLEASE GOD) Amy went with us and she enjoyed it too.

Today we through a ham in the crockpot and went to Den's parents. Den fixed some stuff for them while we spent time with them. We've decided to go out for Father's day next Sunday so I'll be making reservations somewhere soon.
